Zoya 2012 Fall Collection: Part 3, Diva

Happy Friday! Boy am I ready for the weekend! I get to hang out with my favorite little nephew, Palmer, tonight!! I can't wait, I love that little man!

Today I have the third and final post on the Zoya 2012 Fall Collection. Today we have my favorite part, Diva!

All of these swatches are two coats, with no top coat. They all applied like a dream and have a super, high gloss finish.

Elisa... Bright, shining medium crimson red with subtle gold shimmer and a glowing metallic finish. The smooth, glowy metallic finish gives this bright red an extra kick.

It is a dreamy, bright wonderful red. This is my new favorite red in my collection! The subtle gold shimmer is wonderful, but proved to be difficult to capture on camera.

Suri... A medium blue-toned purple with delicate red and blue shimmer and a smooth metallic finish. For a perfect royal purple nail with interesting red and blue sparkle detail.

I love, love, love this polish! Again, hard to capture, but the blue and red micro shimmer is subtle, but amazing. You can see little glints of it in the outskirts of the shimmer in the pictures above (click on them to enlarge).

Song... A bold, vibrant medium primary blue with silver and blue glittery metallic sparkle. A very vibrant blue with a glittery finish that's smoother than traditional chunky glitter.

This cobalt blue is in-your-face-amazing! I love blue polish, so I was already a shoe-in for liking this beauty. If you are a blue polish lover like me, you should plan on adding this to your collection :D

Ray... A dark blackened pine green with smooth, delicate silver and green frost shimmer. A dark, smoky nail color balanced by a bit of shimmer for a softer effect.

I have to say, this polish is stunning. Pictures can do it no justice - in fact, they did them dis-justice because the streaks are much more noticable in them than they were in person. It is a smoky, silver shimmer... I have nothing like this in my collection.

FeiFei... A medium steel blue base with heavy gold, blue and pink iridescent metallic sparkle. A truly unique sparkling iridescent blue that adds a magical look to the nails.

If you love sparkle, you need this polish AND the next one. The silver is a wonderful accent to the blue. This one is a bit thin; the shimmer makes it hard to see, but there is a subtle visible nail line.

Daul... A medium red-toned purple base with heavy purple and gold iridescent metallic sparkle. The shiny gold sparkle makes this shimmering purple polish extra bright and lively.

I am usually not a gold person, but it goes so well with the purple and I really like it! For some reason it makes me think of Aladdin (yup, I was a 90's kid lol). This one is also a three coat if you are going to wear it... just like FeiFei, there is a faint nail line visible. That doesn't not deter me!

So, to sum it up... I love the entire line of Divas! If I had to pick a top three, it would be Suri, Ray and Song.

Zoya 2012 Fall Collection: Part 2, Designer

Here is part 2 of my 3 part Zoya Fall Collection review!! This is the cream part of the collection. All swatches are with two coats and no top coat. I'm not going to do a lot of "talking," I'm going to let the polishes speak for themselves!

Noot... A very dark grey cream with strong blue-green undertones. Smoky, smoldering dark grey nails with a twist from the addition of green tones.

Evvie... A dark smoky grey cream with strong teal green undertones. A custom-mixed runway shade created for designer Peter Som.

Natty... Smoky deep steel blue with an opaque cream finish. A standout smoky blue for an unexpected but very wearable runway look.

Monica... A dark, soft blue-toned purple with a glossy cream finish. A bit of vibrant couture color, darkened for a bold, dramatic nail look. And my favorite of the collection!

Toni... A dark, warm raisin-wine cream with strong purple tones. A fashionable muted purple for a classic vampy nail look. This one has already been borrowed by a co-worker!! Haha

And finally, Rekha... A bold medium blood red with a glossy cream finish. A custom runway shade created for fashion designer Bibhu Mohapatra.

As many of you know, I am not a huge "cream" fan... I like some sparkly in my life. But I do love these!!! My top three are Monica, Natty and Toni!

These are available for purchase now for $8 each. If you do not have an account with them, here is my referral link. If you use this link, you will get a coupon for a free polish. If you purchase 2 more polishes you get free shipping!! So you can get 3 polishes delivered to you for only $16!!

Zoya 2012 Fall Collection: Part 1, Gloss

Hello lovelies!

As many of you know (if you follow me on Facebook, that is :p)... Saturday I got the Zoya fall collection - Designer, Diva and Gloss - to review for you! Well, there are 15 polishes and there is no way I am editing that many pictures in one night! Hahaha... So, since it is naturally broken up into 3 parts, Im going to stick with it!

Zoya 2012 Fall Collection - Gloss

First up, we have Katherine. A sheer, dark, red-toned aubergine with a buildable jelly gloss finish...

This color is very eggplant, and I like it a lot... although I will say it is my least favorite of the three! This is four coats, with no top coat.
The formula is easy to work with... which seems a bit redundant to tell you since it's a Zoya and I dont think there is a single Zoya polish in the world with a bad formula!

For fun, I thought I would show you how they build up. This is 4 coats down (pointer) down to 1 caot (pinky) and everything in between!

Up next, is Frida. A sheer, dark, warm-toned teal blue with a buildable jelly gloss finish.

My coats on my ring finger must've been a little thick... that is a downfall to jellies sometimes... If you arent careful one finger can be a bit darker! Haha... I have nothing like this teal beauty in my collection. I am very excited to play with some jelly sandwich combos using Frida!

Great formula and smooth application. This is four coats, with no top coat.

Here is the build-up... 4 coats on my pointer down to one coat on my pinky.

Last, but certainly not least, Paloma. A sheer deep fuchsia-berry with a buildable jelly gloss finish.

AAHHH!! SO pretty! This is my favorite of the three!

Again, great formula and smooth application. This is four coats, with no top coat.

Here's the build-up. 4 coats on the pointer down to 1 on my pinky.

Overall, I am loving this part of the collection. I am a jelly lover though, so I may be a bit bias.

These are available for purchase now for $8 each. If you do not have an account with them, here is my referral link. If you use this link, you will get a coupon for a free polish. If you purchase 2 more polishes you get free shipping!! So, the moral of this story is, you can get all three of these pretties shipped to your doorstep for $16. What are you still doing here?? Go get them!!! :D

Try it on Tuesday - Revlon Scandalous

Happy Tuesday everyone!

I bought this Revlon polish at least 4 months ago haha... It's about time I dusted it off!

It's a black jelly with hot pink glitter of all sizes mixed in!

It took two coats for full coverage, and was fairly easy to deal with. It is a bit bumpy, even after a top coat.

To see a list of all the participants in Try it On Tuesday, head over to Jilltastic Nail Designs. She has a list for every week!

Did you try a new polish on this week? Post the picture on my Facebook wall :D

365 Days of Color - Toxic Love Collection

I am honored to be able to bring you swatches of the full collection of 365 Days of Color's Toxic Love Collection. I almost had a heart attack when Sunny told me she was sending me all four!!

If you haven't heard about this collection, it is all neon jellies that have glitter in them!! Yea, you read that right... neons with glitter!!

There are A LOT of pics below... so please forgive me! But I really wanted to try to capture how awesome these are, and neons never make that easy... Cameras hate neons! To really make them bright, I did layer most of these over white. Most of you know, nothing makes a neon pop like a nice layer of white undies ;)

I had the hardest time deciding what order to show these to you in... and I had an even harder time picking a favorite!! But let's start with the most in-your-face, shall we? (PS - please don't mind my cuticles.. I have been struggling with our recent weather to keep them happy! lol)

Deadly Attraction

A gorgeous jelly neon, packed full of black shard glitter...

This is three coats layered over a single coat of white. That may seem like a lot of coats, but none of these were over-thick, and it dried nice and quickly.... It's a jelly, so more coats is to be expected!! It was also very smooth with one coat of Essie Good-To-Go... I love it when glitters aren't top-coat-eaters!

Killer Kiss

A peachy/coral neon with white bar, hexagon and shard glitters...

My Killer Kiss was a little light on the glitter... I let Sunny know, and she is making sure her minis get the glitter they deserve since the little brush doesn't want to grab them! Although, I would recommend you buy full sized in all of these, and picking up the glitter is not as much of an issue in the full sized!

This is 3 coats (I dinged my ring finger... don't mind the divet... I was mad haha) over a single layer of white. I couldnt capture the brightness of this one quite as well as Deadly Attraction... trust me, it's brighter than this! This one also dried quickly and was smooth with one layer of top coat.

Dangerously Beautiful

A neon hot pink, with black and blue matte hexagon glitters...

I had the same issue with this one as I did with Killer Kiss... Just not enough glitter getting picked up... no worries though, Sunny is already on it! :)

This is also 3 coats layered over a single coat of white. This one is a bit more hot pink and in your face than I could manage  to capture! But it's pretty close to true color. Once again, dried nicely and was super smooth with one layer of top coat!

Chemical Romance
A purple neon, with black shards and bar glitter, and a holographic hexagon glitter...

This is the only one I didn't layer over white... It stands nicely on it's own! This is three coats. Again, nice dry time and smooth as a baby's bottom after a layer of top coat. If someone held a gun to my head and MADE me choose a favorite... this one would be it! But not by much, because I love them ALL!

Overall, the formula was consistent with all four of these polishes... smooth and easy to work with... Not watery and not thick and gloopy. The glitter doesn't cause much of a headache, it was easy to work with as far as glitters go; and it smooths out nicely!

I love this whole collection!! I love them so much, I plan on snagging all four of them in full-sized because I get a small panic attack thinking about running out of them! Hahaha

You can follow 365 Days of Color on Facebook here and on her blog here.

These beauties are going to be available for purchase on SUNDAY (July 15th)! So don't miss out. You can find her shop here. The minis go for $4.50 and the full-sized go for $8... Although I highly recommend the full sized!!! :D
