365 Days of Color Maybe aby Review

**This was sent to me for review. I was not paid for this review. All opinions are my own and are an accurate representation of my experience with the product.**

Happy Friday!! sorry I dropped off from posting this week. I broke my nail really bad and had to wait for some uv gel to arrive to fix it until it grows out. Im not tell you which one I broke... bet you can't guess :p

I have 365 Day's of Color 12 Month's of Color May shade to share with you today.

I only have one picture to show you today because my camera decided to be a pain in the you-know-what and not photograph another angle without throwing off the color. Thanks camera!

Anywho, this is two coats of Maybe Baby over Zoya Rocky. Sunny sent me a mini bottle as a tester for my review, so I had to fish a little to get the big glitters. But not too bad, they picked up pretty nicely. I would recommend getting a full size; you will get even more glitter if you have the big brush. Maybe Baby has holographic silver and gold glitter in multiple shapes and sizes, silver holo hearts, and giant blue, teal and pink holo dots. I love dots!! So sparkly and pretty!!

You can find her shop here and her Facebook here for shop updates. She is only open the first and third weekend of the month right now due to a strict study schedule with school. So, if you want this, you better head over there right now! The mini costs $4.50 and the full-sized is $8.

She also recently added sugar scrub, that is AMAZING. And has a bunch of new scents for her balms, oils and scrubs you need to check out. I use all three of those products daily. They are wonderful. There is also an awesome Mother's Day special going on right now. You can get two full-sized nail polishes and a 1oz hand product for only $17 (the polish alone is $16); go here to check it out!

A England Dragon

I have a pretty for you today that I am appalled took me so long to wear. All of my organizing brought this mishap to my attention. So, here I am correcting my mistake.

AEngland, Green, Holo

AEngland, Green, Holo

Do you want to know the best part about Dragon?? This is ONE COAT! I die. So pretty. This is a rich, mossy green packed with holo shimmer. I painted these at night, so didn't have a chance to get them out in the sun. By the time I got home form work, it was too dark.. But trust me, it's gorgeous. I highly recommend this be added to your collection.

PS - I've decided to include a thumb in pics now, instead of holding the bottle. The problem is, my thumb has a ridge that isn't bad, but obviously sticks out like a sore thumb (parden my pun) in pics. What is your favorite ridge filling base coat? I am clearly in need of one!

365 Days of Color One Colorful Year

**This was sent to me for review. I was not paid for this review. All opinions are my own and are an accurate representation of my experience with the product.**

Can you believe that Sunny has been making her pretty polish babies for a year now?! To celebrate, she created a special limited edition polish that is going to be available in her shop when it opens tomorrow.

I helped her name this polish, so she sent it to me to review... and I got a full size! Woohoo!!!

365doc, indie, glitter

365doc, indie, glitter

**This was sent to me for review. I was not paid for this review. All opinions are my own and are an accurate representation of my experience with the product.**

One Colorful Year is a white base with (direct quote from Sunny) "a little of pretty much every glitter I have used over the last year." It lives up to it's name.... it's SUPER colorful.

This is 3 coats, 2 was safe for looking good while wearing it... but photographing a polish in a lightbox tends to make the nail line more noticeable so I did 3. The formula is a bit thick, but I think that's more because there is so much glitter than anything. I didn't have any problems with application, even with the thicker consistancy.

She opens shop tomorrow (she's in a cram session for school, so she's only opening a couple times a month for a little while).

You can find her shop here (it's in maintenance now, will open tomorrow) and her Facebook here for shop updates. One Colorful Year is very limited edition, with only 60 being made, and it costs $8.00.

Different Shades of Blue Autism Awareness - Blue Gradient

There have been a lot of "eh"s in my house this week. My hubby is even sounding more Canadian with his friends in town. Usually I only get to enjoy his accent when he's mad lmao.

When I grabbed the colors for this mani, I wasn't sure I was going to like it... but I love how it turned out.

Barielle, Zoya, Dollish Polish

Barielle, Zoya, Dollish Polish

LOVE IT!! I used Barielle Blackened Bleu for the base and topped it with Zoya Song from the Diva Collection (solo swatch here) and finished off with Dollish Polish Bad Case of Blue Balls (solo swatch here).

Be sure to check out the other ladies participating...

365 Days of Color Eggcentric Bunny & Jellybean There Done That

I guess I'm on a 365 Days of Color kick! But I got her Easter Mystery bag on Saturday, and wanted to share these pretty Easter polishes with you before Easter comes and they are no longer available... I have a solid week of nail art for you starting tomorrow; so today is my only chance!

365 Days of Color, 365doc, Eggcentric Bunny, white, jelly, pastel, glitter, pink, purple, shimmer

365 Days of Color, 365doc, Eggcentric Bunny, white, jelly, pastel, glitter, pink, purple, shimmer

This is two coats of Eggcentric Bunny over white. It is a creamy white jelly base packed with pastel glitters in all shapes and sizes and a pink and purple shimmer (that my camera failed to pick up). It is so, so pretty!!

365 Days of Color, 365doc, Jellybean There Done That, Glitter, Top Coat, purple, aqua, pink, matte, glitter, micro, white, purple, pink, shimmer

365 Days of Color, 365doc, Jellybean There Done That, Glitter, Top Coat, purple, aqua, pink, matte, glitter, micro, white, purple, pink, shimmer

Jellybean There Done That is a glitter top coat, so I layered it over Zoya Julie (you can see Julie by herself here). It has purple, aqua and pink matte glitters and micro white glitter along with purple to pink shimmer (which once again eludes my dumb camera). This is two coats over Julie, and the formula was once again an ease to work with.

Sunny does extensive testing of her nail polishes before she releases them, so you can be confident in the quality when you purchase them.

There are available for a very limited time. The mystery bags can be purchased here and cost $20 with free shipping. On top of these two full-sized limited edition polishes, you also get 2-3 oils, balms or mini polishes. I got an oil and a balm :)

365 Days of Color - Frolicking

I hate Mondays... but I have something to make it a little better...

365 Days of Color, 365doc, Frolicking, teal, mint, green, square, round, holo, pink, tan, brown

365 Days of Color, 365doc, Frolicking, teal, mint, green, square, round, holo, pink, tan, brown

 Feel better?? It's so pretty!

Frolicking is a part of 365 Days of Color's La Boheme Spring collection. It is a minty-teal base with gorgeous copper and pink shimmer. And if that isn't enough, its also packed with pink holo, tan and brown squares and magenta round glitters. This is 3 coats of Frolicking, and its formula was lovely to work with.

I love this polish so much!! That's why I chose to give it away with other goodies in my blogiversary giveaway!! Make sure you go and enter the giveaway for your chance to win! It ends on Friday!

Dollish Polish Peter Cottontail

I am so mad at my camera right now. It doesn't like orange, I have accepted that fact. But now it's taking it's anger out on coral and that is not ok! Haha!!

Peter Cottontail is a limited edition Easter shade released by one of my favorite indies, Dollish Polish. Her website messed up and oversold the shade by 37 bottles.... and I got bottle 137! I had it in my cart the second it went onsale, but had some items saved for a few friends and was waiting to see if they wanted them before I bought them. I ended up hitting buy 4 minutes later and somehow landed myself in the lucky 37 batch! Yikes... that was close lol!

Dollish Polish, Peter Cottontail, limited edition, Coral, peach, holo, holographic, glitter

Dollish Polish, Peter Cottontail, limited edition, Coral, peach, holo, holographic, glitter

Ugh, so sad at these pics, they just don't do it justice. This is two coats of Cottontail over Barielle's Orange Parfait (which I showed you yesterday). It is a creamy, peach base packed with a bunch of shapes and sizes iridescent, holo glitters. It is pretty, pretty, pretty.... and definitely in the running for my Easter Sunday mani!

Luck of the Irish Nail Art Challenge Day 3 - Leprechaun

Today is my one year blogiversary!!! It's a double post kind of day, because at 12:01 (PST) this morning I posted giveaway in celebration partially sponsored by 365 Days of Color! Be sure to check it out!!

Alos be sure to check out all of the other participating bloggers....

XO, Noelle

So, oddly enough, my very first post exactly a year ago today was a leprechaun tutorial. What are the odds, right? Well, my nail art skills have vastly improved since then (lots and lots of practice!), so I gave my leprechaun an upgrade!

St Patty's Day, St Paddy's Day, Saint Patrick's Day, Leprechaun, Nail Art, Barielle, Stripe Rite, China Glaze, FingerPaints, Avon

St Patty's Day, St Paddy's Day, Saint Patrick's Day, Leprechaun, Nail Art, Barielle, Stripe Rite, China Glaze, FingerPaints, Avon

I told you in my Zoya Lovely review that Jacqueline would be appearing in nail art, and here she is. The perfect skin-tone for my leprechaun! His beard, eyebrows and cute little freckles are all FingerPaints Caric-art-ure. The black, gold and white accents were all created using my Stripe Rites.

I used Barielle Lily Of The Valley for the leprechaun clothes. The green on my ugly clover (I suck at clovers, I will have to learn to accept that fact) is my Avon Nail Art Enamel in Styled Green; while the blue back on my pinky is my favorite China Glaze For Audrey.

The rainbow on my pointer finger consists of the exact same striping polishes I used in yesterday rainbow... the only difference being an A-England Morgan le Fey overlay to add some sparkle.

Luck of the Irish Nail Art Challenge Day 2 - Pot o' Gold/Rainbow

Day 2 is here!! I decided to try something different with the rainbow. I've already tackled rainbow nails... and provided a tutorial. But I couldn't do the same thing, that would be boring.

Be sure to check out all of the other participating bloggers....

So, you know those women that can hold their thumb at a nice perpendicular angle from their fingers? I'm not one of them. My thumb does not cooperate. I came up with a solution though...

China Glaze, For Audrey, St Patty's Day, St Paddy's Day, Saint Patrick's Day, Rainbow, Pot of Gold, Nail Art, Avon, FingerPaints,

China Glaze, For Audrey, St Patty's Day, St Paddy's Day, Saint Patrick's Day, Rainbow, Pot of Gold, Nail Art, Avon, FingerPaints,

I put the grass on an angle!! Then I have the ray of the rainbow shooting out in an expanding fashion from the gold. I used China Glaze For Audrey as the base on my thumb and then free-handed the rays over white nails. The colors are as follows:

- Red: FingerPaints striper polish Red-aissance
- Orange: FingerPains striper polish Caric-art-ure
- Yellow: FingerPaints striper polish Master Muse
- Green: Avon Nail Art Enamel Styled Green
- Blue: Avon Nail Art Enamel Blue Vibe
- Purple: Avon Nail Art Enamel Passionate Plum

I drew the base of the pot first with my black Stripe Rite, then put the rainbow. Once that had dried, I dotted gold using A-Englands Holy Grail. When that was dry, I finished off the lip of the pot and accented with a glare using my white Stripe Rite.

Luck of the Irish Nail Art Challenge Day 1 - Green

Hello lovelies!! Im glad everyone enjoyed my polish cabinet upcycle yesterday!

It feels good to be back in the blogging game after my break and I am super excited to be participating in the Luck of the Irish challenge hosted by Dipped in Lacquer.

Be sure to check out all of the other participating bloggers, and head over to Dipped in Lacquer's facebook page to join in on her non-blogger contest.

XO, Noelle

So, today is green and my first thought went immediately to green beer. I had done beer nails last year (right before I started blogging) for a party at my mom's bar, so the twist of green seemed like a fun idea!

St Paddy's Day, St Patty's Day, Saint Patrick's Day, green, Dollish Polish, Toss My Salad, A-England, Holy Grail, Beer Nails, Nail Art, Green Beer

St Paddy's Day, St Patty's Day, Saint Patrick's Day, green, Dollish Polish, Toss My Salad, A-England, Holy Grail, Beer Nails, Nail Art, Green Beer

Instead of doing two coats of Toss My Salad, I layered one even coat over one coat of A-Englands Holy Grail. Then I used my white Stripe Rite to draw the mug lines. For the brothy head, I put a drop of OPI Alpine Snow and a drop of A-England's Morgan le Fay on a piece of foil and mixed them together with my medium dotting tool. Then I randomly dotted it on my nails. It doesn't show well in pictures, but it was totally cool in person lol!!

Vancouver Canucks Nail Art For My Anniversary

Today is my 4 year wedding anniversary. I can't believe how fast time has flown by since that beautiful, sunny day where I said "I do" to my best friend.

James is my rock, he keeps me centered and focused... He also drives me crazy, but what man doesn't? I love him, and he has been so supportive of me and my crazy, crafting ventures; this blog included.

He has suggested a lot of nail art ideas to me; most of which I have ignored (for good reason... I'm not going to try to paint his truck on my nails. Not gonna happen lol). But when he suggested I create something in honor of his favorite sports team, I couldn't say no. So I decided it was a good idea to surprise him for our anniversary.

We live in Arizona, but my husband grew up in the small town of Sicamous, British Columbia. A picturesque place in the middle of the Canadian Rockies that you would think only existed on postcards. It's that pretty. So, naturally his favorite team is the Vancouver Canucks. I like hockey, I'm so glad the only sport my husband makes me watch is hockey. If he liked baseball, we probably wouldn't be married lol. So. Freaking. Boring.

I knew their current logo was out of my skill set, and I also knew I couldn't pull of his favorite logo (the flying skate) so I decided to go with the vintage rink with a stick logo on my thumb...

Source

And then take the other old jersey design that is supposed to be yellow, red and black and turn it to the new colors for my pinky...
Source
And this is what I came up with!!

Vancouver, Canucks, Nail Art, Hockey, NHL

He freaked out.

The blue is a no-name that my good friend Sunny at 365 Days of Color sent me. It is actually the base for Free-Spirited with no copper shimmer. I loved the color so much that she sent it to me in creme form. She loves me like that lol!! The white base on my thumb and pinky is OPI Alpine Snow. Then I used my white Stripe Rite and my new Avon Nail Art Enamel in Styled Green for the accents.

The jersey numbers are for 3 of our favorite players. It was so hard to only pick 3...

This is a pretty basic design that can be changed for any sports team you like. Just find a logo or two you know you can draw!

I will have another review for you tomorrow. But, for now I am going to enjoy a day off with my hubby.

Shimmer Polish Review

I have another indie review for you today!! These are gorgeous Shimmer polishes. They are all glitter bombs. Most of the swatches she has on her site are layered over something, I wanted to showcase what they look like alone. These are all 3 coats, and I found the formula an ease to work with.

First up, we have Alessandra...

Shimmer, Alessandra, Red, Coral, Green, Teal, Aqua, Indie, Glitter

Shimmer, Alessandra, Red, Coral, Green, Teal, Aqua, Indie, Glitter

Alessandra is described as a coral red mix. It has all sorts of different reds and corals along with hints of green/aqua. You can really see the sparkle of the green in the lower picture.

Next up is Jasmine...

Shimmer, Jasmine, Aqua, Aquamarine, Gold, Red, Indie, Glitter

Shimmer, Jasmine, Aqua, Aquamarine, Gold, Red, Indie, Glitter

Jasmine is my favorite of the 5 she sent me. Im guessing it was inspired by Aladdin's Jasmine, because that is all I could think while I was wearing it! Haha!! This is mostly aquamarine glitter, with gold and a little surprise of red here and there. It's absolutely stunning.

Now it's on to my name... Kelly :)

Shimmer, Kelly, Green, Gold, Indie, Glitter

Shimmer, Kelly, Green, Gold, Indie, Glitter

Kelly is very St Paddy's day... which is fitting since Kelly is an Irish name. It is packed with green microglitter and has lots of slightly larger gold glitters... some of which are holographic. This is my second favorite of the collection. I know, I'm just as surprised as you that the green polish didn't take top billing!

Now we have Mary...

Shimmer, Mary, Red, Silver, Black, Indie, Glitter

Shimmer, Mary, Red, Silver, Black, Indie, Glitter

Mary is red, silver and black glitter. Out of all of them, I got the least coverage out of her, but I still really like the over-all effect of no undies. Personally, if I can wear a polish without having to put another under it, I prefer to.

And last, but certainly not least, is Nichole...

Shimmer, Nichole, Red, Silver, Blue, Indie, Glitter

Shimmer, Nichole, Red, Silver, Blue, Indie, Glitter

Nichole makes me feel like I should wear her on Memorial Day weekend or Fourth of July. She is very patriotic; the only difference being its red, silver and blue as appose to red, white and blue. There is some holographic silver in here as well.

Overall, I really enjoyed these polishes. I didnt have to fish for glitter like so many glitter bombs. It was an easy dunk and paint approach.

You can buy Shimmer polishes here. They are $12. You can also follow her on Facebook here and her blog here to see all the new shades as they are unveiled.

Don't forget to enter my giveaway for a custom polish. It ends Friday night!! Click here.

365 Days of Color - Color Changing Collection Review

This week I am going to be catching up on some reviews!!! Starting my week of reviews is 365doc's Color Changing polishes. They are so pretty, even if they weren't color changers, I would love them!!

I'm going to start off with Crazy in Love. I have the old formula, that doesn't change colors. Sunny has corrected this. You can see in the photos on her website what it looks like when you dunk it in cold water. I will show it to you in the warm state, because I still think it is beautiful this way!

Color Changing Nail Polish, Glitter

Color Changing Nail Polish, Glitter

This is three, thin coats. It is packed with teal, berry and purple shreds. It is a white base when it is warm, and a coral base when it is cold. I LOVE this one, the color combo of the shreds is just so pretty!

Up next we have Ice Queen. Out of the collection, this one changes color the least. Although, I dont know if it's because the change is so light (it is supposed to be sky blue after all), or if there is so much blue micro-glitter you can't see the change as well.

Color Changing Nail Polish, Glitter

Color Changing Nail Polish, Glitter

This is Ice Queen warm. It took two coats to get full coverage. This is a white base when warm, and it's filled with dark blue micro shreds. I love it, it reminds me of minty gum!

Color Changing Nail Polish, Glitter

Color Changing Nail Polish, Glitter

Here is Ice Queen cold. Please excuse the water, there is not time to dry your hands and capture the full blast of the color. You can definitely see the change of the base to a light blue, but it is not as dramatic as the next two pretties :)

Next we have Assort-Mint. If you have been following my blog for long, you will know how much I love green polishes. So, loving this one is a no brainer ;)

Color Changing Nail Polish, Glitter

Color Changing Nail Polish, Glitter

This is Assort-Mint warm, so it's white. This has beautiful green, iridescent micro shreds. It's hard to capture how absolutely pretty this is in person! This is 2 coats, you could go three; but I was happy with the coverage with two.

Color Changing Nail Polish, Glitter

Color Changing Nail Polish, Glitter

This is Assort-Mint cold (again, please excuse the water). It turns a wonderful minty green... hence the name! This is my favorite of the collection... which shouldn't need to be said because, well, it's green haha.

Last, but certainly not least is Glitter Princess. My favorite part about this polish is the black glitter. Can't explain why, but I just like it lol.

Color Changing Nail Polish, Glitter

Color Changing Nail Polish, Glitter

This is three, thin coats of Glitter Princess warm. It is packed with matte glitters of all shapes and sizes in white, black, hot pink and teal.

Color Changing Nail Polish, Glitter

Color Changing Nail Polish, Glitter

Here she is cold. The base turns baby pink as soon as it hits cold water. This one is really fun to see hit the water. It is definitely the most changing of the collection.

I love, love, love the new color changing trend. And what I love most about this collection is the glitter. All of the color changing polishes up until the release of this one were creams.

You can buy 365 Days of Color's polishes here. They are $8.00 for full sized or $4.50 for minis. You can also follower her blog here and her Facebook here.

While you are buying one of these, you should also snag a cuticle balm for $3. Her balms are my favorite (may I suggest Zombie Punch, Cream Cheese Frosting, Pumpkin Vanilla or Blueberry Cheesecake).

Don't forget to enter my giveaway for a custom polish. It ends Friday night!! Click here.
