Today I turn 28... I was contemplating not saying how old I am... there's the irrational woman in me screaming "No!! You're getting old! AHHHH!" But, I decided instead to take a page out of my mother's book. Her theory is: there is no point in fretting about getting older, because the alternative it being dead. haha. Happy thoughts.
I made it look like number candles were sitting on a cake! Lol!! I used Barielle Life of the Party, Zoya Julie, and Zoya Gie Gie as the main colors. My Stripe Rite black and white striping polishes for accents... and the flame on the candles was made with my Stripe Rite Yellow and Orly Yellow Submarine.
Now, for the flash giveaway!! I have a mini bottle of Dollish Polish Expecto Patronum looking for a new home!! All you have to do is comment on this blog post with your must have beauty product (it does not have to be nail polish) and how you follow my blog. Happy Birthday!!! 28 is just a number, and numbers don't mean much in the whole of life once you pass the big 21 milestone. You are a loooong way from the big 5-0 so yep, you can still say you are YOUNG and mean it.
ReplyDeleteMy must have beauty product is eyeliner. I love Urban Decay 24-7 pencils and if I could only choose 1 item that is it for me. Essence and L'Oreal Linear Intense are my favorite liquid liners for a sharp precise line.

Happy Birthday! I just turned 31 in January, so I feel your "pain" on the reluctance to admit your age, lol. Sucks that GFC will be no more, I have a LOT of blogs I need to go through and follow in other ways, not to mention my own blog :(
ReplyDeleteAnyhow, must have beauty item is eyebrow filler pencils, tweezers, and sally hansen's waxing kit for face and eyebrows. I went face first through a window when I was a kid, luckily there was no major damage done, but my eyebrows have scars and spots where the hair just doesn't grow, so I fill them in. Add that to a couple traumatizing waxing experiences and I just take care of it on my own, lol.
Happy birthday! My must-have really is nail polish. I love the colors, the glitter, all of it! I had to leave it off of my fingers for a few days due to some work stuff, and one of my co-workers actually said that she thought I had latex gloves on, she didn't realize I had no nail polish on!
