The New Black Review

So, I took a week off work and went camping and to the lake a few times and COMPLETELY avoided the computer! So, needless to say, I haven't posted and I am super sorry (but not really, because it was relaxing lol).

The New Black has set's of small nail polish, some are purposely coordinating (like the Ombre Sets) and some are just a wonderful array of colors. I will be sharing two sets with you. First up, is Runway...

I broke this down to two pictures: the warms and the cools. All swatches are 2 coats, with no top coat.

Here are the warms. The yellow, red and orange are creams, and the pink has a lovely gold shimmer. The pink is my favorite of these 4.

The tan and navy are creams, and the perriwinkle and green are shimmers. The green was a bit difficult to avoid streaks; but even with the struggles, it is my favorite of these four. Up next is the Ombre set, Waves.

I love that you can get an Ombre look without even having to think about it!

This set is amazing. The darkest blue (on my pinky) seems a bit out of place to me, but it's not odd enough to drive my OCD crazy, so it's not too bad!! The teal shimmer (ring finger) is my favorite of this collection.

All in all, I found the formulas easy to work with, and they were all streak-free after 2 coats. I love, love, love these sets, and am definitely planning on buying more!!

The 5-piece ombre sets cost $22 and the 8-piece Runway collection is $32. These can be purchased at Sephora.

(These sets we're provided to me for review. The opinions in this review accurately portray my personal experience with the product. Product pictures were provided to me by The New Black.)
