Try It On Tuesday - China Glaze Vertical Rush

Welcome to my first Try It Out Tuesday!! I'm joining a group of my fellow bloggers in challenging ourselves to get through our stash of "untrieds." We've all done it, bought a nail polish and then left it sitting on the shelf... full, lonely and unused. Well, no more!! I am going to do it once a week until I have used all of my pretties. I, however, do not have nearly as many as some of the other wonderful ladies; because I haven't been at this as long! lol

This first pretty, is a China Glaze I got last fall on a clearance sale at Sally's for like $1.50. I was not passing that deal up!! But then, it just sat and collected dust. Poor thing! Without further ado, meet Vertical Rush!

Let's start off with a picture in the shade... this gives you a feel for the true color. It is a pretty red wine color.

You can really see the shimmer in the direct sunlight!! This took 2 coats to full coverage. The formula was a bit watery, and took some getting used to. But I adjusted and gained control after a couple of nails. The shimmer is a little streaky if you aren't careful.

All-in-all, I found the polish to be pretty, but it isn't a knock your socks off... Now I don't feel so bad that I left it on the shelf for so long! :p

Go check out these lovely ladies untrieds too!! ;)

    1. I dont own a lot of deep reds (or reds in general)... I have no real reason as to why... I just need to tell myself to put the blues and greens down! Hahaha!
